What does one do when one's whole world falls apart?
What does one do when the whole world comes crashing down about one's ears?
Does one kill oneself, or the cat or a friend?
Does one sit in a chair and drink oneself into oblivion?
Safer. Can't be arrested for drunk and disorderly when you are alone in your own living room, sloshed.
CAN ONE?
I'm not exactly sure when I REALIZED I was gay.
I DO know when I BECAME gay.
BIRTH. Not that I remember it all that well.
In other words I, just like every other gay person on the planet, CAME this way.
The DNA or G-nome or whatever...was baked into our genetic cake so to speak..and then the fun began. Feeling ostracized and being discriminated against by people who have nothing better to do than to foment hate and let it eat at them is definitely no fun. It is also highly unnecessary. They of the hater class of course are merely feeling generous and only wanting to share what they believe is their solemn right to experience.
HATE.
NOBODY DESERVES to live in that shadow.
NOBODY DESERVES to be forced to live someone else's nightmare...especially involuntarily.
SO, I DECIDED....TAH DAH...
to try to do what I can to right the ship and help young (or not so young) LGBTQ people to feel less hated and to feel better about themselves. THUS the series "The World Beyond".
